OUR PHILOSOPHY
We Develop People. Rugby Is the Vehicle.
At IRANZ, we believe elite performance on the field starts with who you are off it. That’s why every camp we run goes beyond drills and tactics. We combine elite, position-specific coaching with:
Mental Resilience
learning to perform under pressure
Rugby Intelligence
understanding the game at a deeper level
Decision-making
develop instincts that can't be coached from a textbook
Leadership Development
becoming someone your team looks to when it matters
Our Story
More Than Rugby. More Than a Camp.
For over two decades, the International Rugby Academy of New Zealand has stood for something bigger than sport.
Founded in 2001 in New Zealand, IRANZ began with a simple but powerful mission: to maximise the potential within every aspiring athlete.
What started as a local academy has grown into a global movement, working with players, coaches, and schools across 40+ countries. Today, IRANZ is a destination for those who refuse to settle – athletes and coaches who want more than the standard, and are willing to do the work to get there.
Now, we’re bringing that same proven system to the Southwest USA for the very first time.
THE IRANZ DIFFERENCE
Beyond the training field, every participant takes part in sessions that build leadership, resilience, and self-management – the key attributes of high-performance athletes and coaches.
Through live reviews, feedback sessions, and off-field seminars, our camps are designed to develop the whole individual – preparing you not just for your next training session or match, but for the next level of your rugby journey.
IRANZ SOUTHWEST USA
Now Launching in the Southwest.
Led by Scott Mead and Adolfo Sanchez, IRANZ Southwest USA is bringing the full IRANZ high-performance experience to Phoenix, Arizona – starting with our June 2026 camp at Grand Canyon University.
This is just the beginning. Our vision is to build a long-term development pathway for players and coaches across the region, giving Southwest athletes access to the same world-class system used by players and teams at the highest levels of the game.
